(I explained everything in here)
Everything you need to turn signups into deposits. Ready to launch.
The 3 reasons you are not making way more money through emails
That means a lot of your traders are not even seeing what you send them.
The promotions tab is one step away from invisible. If your emails land there instead of the primary inbox, most people will never open them.
Less people seeing your emails = less deposits. Simple as that.
Go through the last few emails you sent.
Do they talk directly to the trader like you actually want to help them? Or do they read like a corporate announcement that nobody asked for?
This costs you more than you think. The people reading these are real humans. If you're not helping them, they stop trusting you.
Less trust = less deposits.
This is happening because you are sending the same email to everyone.
Someone who just signed up should not get the same email as someone who has been trading with you for 6 months. A person who hasn't verified yet shouldn't be getting promotional campaigns. But right now, they are.
There are specific customer flows that can tie down to the exact individual. How long they've been trading, their deposits, country, region, trading pair.
The more targeted the message, the more money it makes.
Right after someone signs up, they haven't verified yet. These emails are designed to get them to complete KYC so they can actually start using the platform.

Hi {{firstName}},
You started a tastyfx account but we do not have your documents yet.
Not a nag. Just a note, because US forex verification looks different from what people expect.
Here is what we need and why.
Your W-9. That is a US tax form. We need it because the IRS requires it for any US based financial account. Takes about two minutes to fill out.
A photo of your ID. Driver's license or passport works. This is a Patriot Act rule for US financial accounts, not a tastyfx choice.
A utility bill or bank statement. Proof of address, also required under US rules. Anything dated in the last 90 days.
The whole thing takes about 10 minutes if you have the documents near you.
Why it feels slower than an offshore broker.
Offshore brokers can approve you with just an email because nobody is auditing them. US brokers cannot. We answer to the NFA and the CFTC and they are specific about who can open an account and how we verify it.
The benefit on your side is the reason you picked us. Your funds sit in a US segregated bank account under your name. That only works if we can prove who you are.
Which means the paperwork step is the same reason the broker is safer.
Finish verification here: [login URL - https://tastyfx.com/my-account or equivalent] [VERIFY: exact verification completion URL]

Still seeing your account in verification pending.
Quick preview of what you get access to once the docs clear, since right now the dashboard probably looks pretty empty.
Five trading platforms on the same login. tastyfx web and mobile, MT4, MT5, TradingView, and ProRealTime. That last one is only available on US soil through us. [VERIFY: confirm still only US broker with ProRealTime access as of April 2026]
80+ forex pairs. Majors like EUR/USD and USD/JPY, crosses like GBP/JPY, and emerging market exotics. Spreads on EUR/USD start from 0.8 pips on the Standard account.
Three account tier options. Standard for commission-free, Zero+ for raw spreads plus $5 per lot, and Prime if you are funding at $50K+ and want interest on idle cash.
Live rollover rates. The tom-next on every pair gets published so you know what overnight holds cost or pay.
24/5 US based support. Chicago office, phone, chat, email. No chatbots.
Optional IRA forex. If you want to trade forex inside your retirement account, we work with Equity Trust as custodian. [VERIFY: confirm Equity Trust is still the sole IRA custodian partner in 2026]
None of this is live for you until verification clears. Usually one business day after the docs land.
Finish the paperwork here: [verification URL] [VERIFY: same as above]

Hi {{firstName}},
Last note from me on this.
Your tastyfx account has been sitting in verification pending for a week.
Usually what we see is one of three things.
One, the W-9 got started but not submitted. Opens as a draft, easy to forget.
Two, the ID upload failed because the photo was blurry or the edges got cut off. Happens a lot from phone cameras.
Three, the proof of address document was older than 90 days. A Comcast bill from January does not work in April.
Any of those ring a bell, fix is fast.
Honestly though, the most common reason is just the "I will do it later" thing. Life happens, the tab gets closed, the reminder fades.
The thing about that one is, a week from now turns into a month. The market you were watching moves. The setup you spotted fires without you. And the account you opened with the right broker sits there doing nothing.
Ten minutes of paperwork versus another month of watching from the sidelines. That is the trade.
Finish your verification: [verification URL]
If anything is unclear about which document goes where, support is on (312) 981-0499 and they can literally walk you through it on the phone.
Once the docs clear, your first deposit can be as small as $1, though most traders fund around $1,000 to $5,000 to actually use the account.
After this email, you will not hear from me again unless the verification goes through. At that point you will move into the main tastyfx welcome sequence and start getting the actual trading content.
Up to you.

Hi {{firstName}},
Your tastyfx account is live. Thanks for picking a US regulated broker. There are not that many of us left.
Quick context so you know who you are dealing with.
tastyfx is the US forex arm of IG Group, which has been around since 1974.
The US business launched in 2019 and rebranded from IG US to tastyfx in 2024.
We are an NFA member (ID 0509630) and we are registered with the CFTC as a Retail Foreign Exchange Dealer. That means your funds sit in segregated US bank accounts, not pooled with the firm's money.
Here is what the next few emails will cover.
How the account types differ and which one tends to fit different traders.
Where to find the platforms, including the one no other US broker carries.
How spreads and margin actually work on your account.
And a few things most new traders miss in the first week.
You do not need to do anything right now. Just read when they land.
One thing worth doing today though. Log in and place a tiny test trade, even 1,000 units of EUR/USD. That gets the first click out of the way so the real trades feel normal.

Hi {{firstName}},
Short story for you.
IG Group started in London in 1974. One of the first firms to let regular people bet on market moves instead of just institutions.
Over 50 years, the group grew into one of the biggest trading names in Europe and Australia.
In 2019, they opened a US office because US traders kept asking for a regulated home base.
Then in June 2024, the US arm rebranded as tastyfx to sit closer to the tastytrade options and futures brand. Both companies share the same parent, IG US Holdings.
So why does that matter to you.
Offshore brokers can offer 500:1 leverage and instant crypto payouts because nobody is watching them. That feature sounds great. It also means your money is sitting on an island somewhere with very few rules around what happens if the firm fails.
US regulation is boring. Leverage is capped at 50:1 on majors, 20:1 on minors. Funds are segregated. Reports get filed. Audits happen.
That is the tradeoff we built around.
So when you see the 50:1 cap, it is not us being cheap. It is the rule we have to follow to keep your money sitting in a US bank under your name.
The benefit is that you get to trade forex without wondering if your withdrawal will ever clear.
Which means you can focus on the actual trading instead of the broker risk.

Preview: Not a spec sheet. A quick way to know which one is yours.
Hi {{firstName}},
tastyfx has three live account types. Most people get bounced around spec sheets trying to figure out the right one.
Here is a shorter way.
Ask yourself three questions.
Question one. Are you newer to forex or trading in smaller sizes?
Standard is your account. No commissions, spreads start around 0.8 pips on EUR/USD. That means your total cost is baked into the price and there is nothing to calculate. You just hit buy or sell.
Outcome: cleaner math when you are learning, fewer surprises on your statement.
Question two. Are you trading bigger size, maybe 5+ lots a day, and squeezing on cost?
Zero+ is your account. Spreads from 0.0 pips on majors plus a flat $5 per lot commission. For active traders that combo tends to beat the Standard account once volume goes up.
Outcome: lower blended cost per trade when you are moving real size.
Question three. Do you have $50,000+ sitting at the account and you want it to earn while you wait for setups?
Prime is your account. Spreads from 0.6 pips, no commissions, and interest on uninvested cash. [VERIFY: exact interest rate paid on Prime balances]
Outcome: your cash is not sitting idle between trades.
No pressure to pick the biggest one. Most traders start on Standard and move up later when the cost math actually flips.
You can switch tiers anytime by calling support or using the dashboard.

Hi {{firstName}},
When you log into tastyfx you will see options for five different trading platforms. That can feel like too much choice, so here is the short map.
tastyfx web and mobile apps. Our own platforms. Cleaner layout, built-in sentiment data showing where other tastyfx clients are positioned. Good if you just want to open, trade, close, and move on.
MetaTrader 4. The old standby. If you have used forex before, you probably know it. Custom indicators, expert advisors, the whole ecosystem.
MetaTrader 5. Newer MT. Better charting, more timeframes, handles more assets. Worth a look if MT4 feels dated.
TradingView. The charting platform most traders already use for analysis. Now you can trade from the same screen instead of flipping between tabs.
ProRealTime. This is the one worth paying attention to.
tastyfx is the only US forex broker with ProRealTime access. It is a European charting platform that is pretty beloved by serious chart readers. Things like backtesting screens, volume profile, and unusually deep order book views.
The benefit here is simple. If you were picking a US regulated broker but you rely on a specific chart tool that nobody else carries, that decision gets easier.
Outcome: you do not have to trade off chart quality for regulation.
All five platforms connect to the same tastyfx account. Same login, same balance. You can chart on ProRealTime and execute on MT4 if that is your workflow.
Mobile apps cover iOS and Android for both MT4 and MT5, plus the tastyfx native app.

Subject A/B 2: what tends to go wrong in the first week of trading

Hi {{firstName}},
Two things we see go wrong in week one. Neither of them has anything to do with your actual trade ideas.
Thing one. Rollover fees.
If you hold a position past 5pm ET, you either pay or receive what is called rollover. It is the interest rate difference between the two currencies in your pair, plus a small admin fee.
Most people find out the hard way when they hold overnight without checking.
The fix is simple. Look up the tom-next rate for your pair before you hold past 5pm. On some pairs you actually earn a small credit. On others you pay. Either way, no surprises.
Outcome: your overnight holds stop feeling random on the P/L report.
Thing two. Position sizing.
The tastyfx minimum trade is 1,000 units, which is a micro lot. That means one pip on EUR/USD moves your P/L about 10 cents.
Most new traders jump straight to standard lots because "the pip movement looks too small" on micros. Then one bad trade wipes a week of progress.
Our observation is that traders who stay on micro lots for their first month tend to survive longer than those who do not.
The benefit of sizing down early is boring. You get reps in without blowing up.
Which means by the time you step up to mini or standard lots, you actually know how your system behaves under pressure.
No pressure to use micros forever. Just long enough that the platform clicks and the math is second nature.
Next email is about support. Not the marketing version. The real version.

Hi {{firstName}},
A story that happens more than people admit.
It is 2am on a Tuesday. You are watching the yen pair that you have been stalking for a week. You go to close at a small profit. You hit the wrong side. Now you are short when you meant to be flat.
Most US brokers are 9 to 5. Nobody picks up. You spend the next few hours watching what should have been a green trade turn into a problem, waiting for someone to open the phones.
tastyfx runs support 24 hours a day, from 3am Saturday to 5pm Friday ET. That is the full forex trading week.
Phone. Email. Web chat. All three work.
The phone for existing accounts is (312) 981-0498. Save it in your contacts now, not after something goes wrong.
The benefit is less about the hours and more about what it means at 2am.
You are not trapped in a position until Monday. You are not waiting six hours for an email reply. You get a human.
Which means your worst trading night is still fixable.
The support team is US based, in Chicago (office at 1330 W Fulton, Suite 610). Not offshore. Not a chatbot. People you can actually talk to.
We also keep a help center at tastyfx.com/help-and-support with written walkthroughs for most common situations. Deposits, withdrawals, platform issues, IRA setup.
Pretty much everyone uses support at some point. The traders who stick around tend to be the ones who actually call when something is off, instead of hoping it fixes itself.
Next email is about copy trading and auto strategies on MT5.

Subject: you can run automated strategies on tastyfx
Subject A/B 1: a thing most US forex brokers do not let you do
Subject A/B 2: expert advisors on your tastyfx account, short note
Preview: The pro toolkit, inside a US regulated account.
Hi {{firstName}},
Not many US forex brokers let you run automated strategies on the account. tastyfx does.
If you use MT4 or MT5, you can load expert advisors (EAs), custom indicators, and scripts directly on your live tastyfx account.
That means if you buy or code a system that enters and exits based on rules, the broker side of the equation is not in your way.
Why this matters.
Most offshore brokers allow EAs because they have to. They need the volume. Most big US brokers block them because they do not want the headache.
tastyfx sits in the middle. US regulated, but the platform door is open.
The benefit is pretty direct. You can backtest an idea in MT5, hit live, and watch it trade without sitting at your screen all night.
Outcome: your strategy runs even when you are at work or asleep.
Two sensible boundaries worth mentioning.
First, EAs do not make bad strategies good. A losing system running on autopilot loses faster. Backtest properly before you let it live trade.
Second, on US regulation, hedging (holding long and short on the same pair at once) is not allowed under NFA rules. Any EA that relies on hedging will not work here. Worth checking before you buy one.
If you are newer to automation, TradingView also lets you build alerts-based systems that do not quite hit full auto but get close. Another option inside your tastyfx login.
Next email is the last one in this sequence and it wraps up the offer.

Hi {{firstName}},
Quick honest email.
You signed up, you funded, you have read seven of these.
If you have already placed your first live trade, ignore this and have a good week.
If you have not, here is the thing most traders get stuck on.
The "wait until I am ready" trap.
A trader reads the platform docs. Paper trades for three weeks. Watches 20 YouTube videos. Plans to go live "after the next Fed meeting." Then after Q1. Then after their vacation.
Six months go by. They have learned a lot in theory and nothing in practice.
Live trading with real money teaches you things that demo never will. Not because the charts are different. They are identical. Because the emotion is different.
What we see is that traders who place their first live trade within the first three weeks tend to treat the account like a real thing and build discipline faster.
Traders who wait two or three months tend to either never place a trade at all, or they jump in too big when they finally do.
Smallest possible first trade. 1,000 units on a major pair like EUR/USD. That is about 10 cents per pip. Nothing to lose sleep over.
Open the app. Place the trade. Close it an hour later. You are now a real trader on a US regulated account.
The next steps for week four onward are up to you. But that first click is the one that tends to matter most.
Log in and place your first live trade: https://tastyfx.com/

This is where most brokerages completely drop the ball. They get the trader signed up, verified, onboarded... and then go silent. No value, no updates, nothing. It's the equivalent of going on a great first date, getting her number, and then ghosting her. And wondering why nothing happened.
This is where you start making your emails addicting. You give traders real value on a consistent basis so they keep choosing your platform over every other option. The 3 campaigns below are designed to do exactly that.
These can be used for the next 2 days or they won't make sense!
These can be used for the next 2 days or they won't make sense!
